Private Mount Batur sunrise jeep tour
Your own 4WD jeep to the Batur crater-rim viewpoint for sunrise or sunset, then down onto the black lava field. Sit-in or with a guided walk. Breakfast and island-wide hotel pickup are included.
Mount Batur, one of Bali’s two active volcanoes, stands in the Kintamani highlands about 1½ hours north of Ubud. The private jeep climbs volcanic tracks on its eastern flank to a viewpoint around 1,350 metres, facing Lake Batur and Mount Agung. After the light changes, the driver takes you down onto the black lava flows for photos. It is the way to see a Batur sunrise with no hike: not the two-hour summit trail in the dark. If you searched for a Kintamani jeep tour, a Bali volcano jeep tour, or a sunrise jeep ride, this is that drive.
Sit-in (you stay with the jeep) is Rp 2.000.000 for two guests. Tracking (the jeep plus a guided walk to the viewpoint) is Rp 1.800.000 for two. From three guests, both are Rp 750.000 per person. Hotel pickup anywhere in the main tourist areas, a hot drink, the Kintamani entrance fee, breakfast after the viewpoint, and insurance for ages 6–65 are included.
Add a Batur natural hot spring for Rp 150.000 per person, or Toya Devasya for Rp 300.000, with the entrance ticket included. Sunrise pickups are 02:00–03:00; sunset pickups are 14:30–15:30.

Hotel pickup
Sunrise: 02:00–03:00, south Bali earliest and Ubud a little later. Sunset: 14:30–15:30. You switch into the 4×4 at the Kintamani base.

Crater-rim viewpoint
The jeep climbs the volcanic track to about 1,350 metres while a hot drink is served. Tracking guests walk the last stretch with a guide.

Down onto the black lava flows below Mount Batur for photos on the volcanic rock.

Breakfast and the way back
Breakfast off the ridge, an optional hot spring or a short coffee-plantation stop, then drop-off at your hotel.

The sit-in jeep suits most ages. The tracking walk needs ordinary fitness and closed shoes, not summit fitness. Insurance covers about ages 6–65.
