A private Mount Batur jeep tour costs Rp 1.800.000 for two guests with a short guided walk, or Rp 2.000.000 if you stay in the jeep. From three guests it is Rp 750.000 each either way. That includes tax, hotel pickup anywhere in the main tourist areas, breakfast, the entrance fee, and insurance.

Price by group size
The jeep is private, so the price depends on how many of you share it. Two guests pay the pair rate. From the third guest, everyone in the group pays the lower per-person rate. One booking takes up to six guests, and sunrise and sunset cost the same.

Why some listings look cheaper
Lower-priced Batur jeep listings usually advertise the rate from Ubud or Kintamani. From Canggu, Seminyak, Sanur, Uluwatu, or Nusa Dua, many add a car surcharge, often Rp 150.000–700.000 per car, and some are shared jeeps, so other guests may ride with you. Our price is the same from Ubud to Uluwatu, and the jeep carries your group only.
Once the surcharge is added, two guests from the south coast typically pay around Rp 1.250.000–2.000.000 in total on those listings. Ours is Rp 1.800.000 for two with the guided walk or Rp 2.000.000 sit-in, inside that range, and from three guests it is Rp 750.000 each with nothing added.

What the price includes
Both options cover the same viewpoint, lava field, and breakfast. The only difference is whether you walk the last stretch to the viewpoint with a guide.

- The third guest is the cheapest seat: three people pay Rp 2.250.000, only Rp 250.000 more than two on the sit-in jeep.
- From three guests, sit-in and tracking cost the same, so choose on whether you want the walk, not on price.
- For two guests, the sit-in jeep plus the Batur hot spring costs Rp 2.300.000, Rp 300.000 less than the Kintamani day, which adds a coffee tasting and a rice-terrace stop.
- From three guests, the jeep with a hot spring add-on is cheaper than the Kintamani day, because the jeep price per person drops and the day rate does not.
