Mount Batur jeep or sunrise trek

The jeep is a private 4×4 to a crater-rim viewpoint. The summit trek is a dark hike we do not sell. Here is how to tell them apart before you pay.
Sit-in jeep: you stay with the vehicle, minimum two guests, Rp 2.000.000 for the pair or Rp 750.000 each from the third guest. Breakfast, the entrance fee, and hotel pickup are included.
Tracking jeep: the same private jeep plus a guided walk to the viewpoint. Rp 1.800.000 for two guests, then Rp 750.000 each from the third. It is not the two-hour summit path.
If walking to the summit before dawn is the reason for the alarm, book a trek guide. Buying the jeep and expecting that hike wastes the fare.
Sunrise or sunset
Both run at the same price. Sunrise pickup is 02:00–03:00 and takes 6–7 hours door to door. Sunset pickup is 14:30–15:30 and takes 4–5 hours.
