What to wear for an ATV ride, rafting, and tubing in Bali

Short answer
Wear clothes you are happy to ruin: quick-dry shorts or leggings and a dark T-shirt, with swimwear underneath for the river. The ATV arena lends boots and a helmet; rafting provides a helmet and life jacket. Bring a full change of clothes, sunscreen, sandals that strap on, and a waterproof phone case.

For the ATV
Mud gets everywhere, including inside the boots. Dark colours hide it; white never recovers.
- Shorts or leggings and a T-shirt you will not wear again for dinner
- Sunglasses on a strap, or none; the helmet keeps most splash off
- Hair tied back under the helmet
For rafting and tubing
You will be wet from the first rapid. Swimwear under a quick-dry layer is the most comfortable combination, and the layer protects your shoulders from sun on open water.
- Sandals with a heel strap or old trainers; flip-flops come off in the river
- Water-resistant sunscreen applied before you leave the hotel
- Glasses on a strap; the river keeps what it takes
On a combo day
For the ATV and rafting or tubing combo, wear swimwear under your ATV clothes. You rinse off at the arena, ride to the river in the same kit, and change into dry clothes only once, after the water.
Pack in a dry bag
- A full change of clothes, including underwear
- A plastic bag for the wet and muddy kit
- A waterproof phone case on a lanyard
- Some cash in rupiah for drinks and tips
Ready when you are

The ATV and Ayung rafting combo is 10% under the two tickets, with both lunches and one pickup fee. Pack once, change once.
From Rp 1.035.000 per guest
- Shuttle from Rp 400.000 once, or self-meet free
- No card online: you pay in rupiah after we confirm the seat
- Change the date up to 24 hours before pickup, if the seat is free
