What to expect on Ayung River rafting near Ubud

Expect about 12 km and about 2 hours on the Ayung through a jungle canyon: Class II–III rapids, waterfalls, and carved stone panels, with a crew guide steering. From briefing to lunch
You change at the base, fit a helmet and life jacket, and learn paddle commands. Then the raft drops into the Ayung canyon for about 12 km: splashy Class II–III sections, quieter stretches for photos when the guide allows, jungle walls, waterfalls, and carved stone panels on the bank.
On the water you spend about two hours. With briefing, shower, changing, and lunch, plan about three hours at the river. The private shuttle driver, if you booked one, waits at the finish.

What is included and what is not
Included: raft with crew guide, helmet, life jacket, paddle, lunch, towels, shower, changing room, and insurance for ages 6–65. Not included: private shuttle (Rp 400.000 Ubud / Rp 650.000 south coast, or self-meet free), photo or video packages, and tips.
