Best ATV track in Bali: how to spot a unique jungle ride, and why we ride Sedang

Updated · By the Bali Activity Tours desk in Ubud

Short answer

For an authentic jungle mud ride, we rate Sedang’s newer purpose-built arena at All New Bali Adventure, near Ubud, the best ATV track in Bali. You track about 7–8 km on a 350cc quad: deep mud ruts, river crossings, a waterfall, and a lion-head tunnel, all off the public road. Rides start at Rp 700.000 with lunch and insurance.

What makes a Bali ATV track unique, why cheaper ads are often a different product, and why Sedang’s newer jungle arena earns the rate. From Rp 700.000 with lunch.

What makes an ATV track unique

Every Bali ATV listing says jungle. The difference is where the wheels actually go — and how new and purpose-built the arena is. Some tours spend most of the session on public village lanes and plantation roads, riding in convoy with scooters and trucks. A unique track keeps you off the road, in deep mud and water, for the whole loop, with signature features you will not get on a cheap road-heavy ride.

Before you book any ATV in Bali, check these six things:

  • A dedicated off-road arena track, not public village roads
  • Real terrain: deep mud ruts, water, and uneven ground, not a flat dirt circuit
  • River crossings you ride through, not around
  • Signature features (waterfall, lion-head tunnel) on the same loop
  • Boots, helmet, lunch, and insurance in the ticket, not as extras
  • How much of the session is riding, and how much is waiting and transfers

Why we rate Sedang the best for a jungle ride

The track at All New Bali Adventure on Jl. Raya Krasan, Sedang, is a newer purpose-built jungle arena. You track about 7–8 km on a 350cc quad: deep muddy ruts under a bamboo canopy, river crossings, a waterfall, and a giant lion-head tunnel with water at the entrance. You ride it single-file behind a guide after a briefing on flat ground, so first-timers ride the same track as everyone else.

It is also one of the easier tracks to reach: about 30 minutes south-west of central Ubud and about an hour from Seminyak and Canggu. Boots, a helmet, lunch, towels, and insurance for ages 6–65 are in the ticket. We book every ATV ride on this track because it is the muddy jungle ride most guests picture when they search for a Bali ATV — and because the published rate matches that product, not a bargain listing for a different track type.

Do not compare this price to every “Bali ATV” ad

A lower number on another site usually means a different ride: a shorter loop, a 250cc bike, more time on village roads, or lunch and insurance left out of the ticket. Our Sedang rate is for about 7–8 km of tracking on a 350cc quad, on a dedicated muddy jungle arena with the lion-head tunnel and waterfall on the same loop. Compare distance, bike, track, and inclusions first; the rupiah total second.

Is it a good track for beginners?

Yes. No licence or quad experience is needed. Guides show you the throttle and brakes on flat ground, then lead at the pace of the slowest rider. If one of you would rather not steer, book a tandem: one person drives and the other rides behind. Children under about 6 are outside the insurance.

Price

A single quad is Rp 750.000 for one rider, Rp 725.000 each for two, and Rp 700.000 each for three or more. A tandem for two people is Rp 1.100.000 per bike. Lunch, boots, helmet, and insurance are included. The private shuttle is Rp 400.000 from Ubud or Rp 650.000 from the south coast, once per booking, or meet at the arena for free.

Add Ayung rafting or Wos River tubing the same afternoon and the combo takes 10% off both tickets.
