ATV location
Where to ride an ATV in Bali: every track area, and the closest to your hotel
Updated · By the Bali Activity Tours desk in Ubud
Short answer
Bali's ATV tracks are not in Ubud town or on the south-coast beaches. Most sit in villages 20–40 minutes around Ubud: Payangan and Tegallalang to the north, Singapadu to the south, and Bongkasa and Sedang to the west. Tabanan has beach rides and Kintamani has lava rides. Ours is in Sedang, about an hour from Canggu and Seminyak.
Where Bali's ATV tracks are, what each area rides like, drive times from Ubud and the beach towns, and the exact location of our Sedang jungle track.

There is no ATV track in Ubud town
When a listing says Ubud ATV, the track is in a village outside town, usually 20–40 minutes away. Over the years, local families in Payangan, Tegallalang, Singapadu, and Abiansemal turned plantation land into private off-road loops, which is why no licence is needed to ride them.
Before you book, ask for the exact village and a map pin, not just Ubud. The village decides the terrain, the drive time from your hotel, and what the car costs.
Bali ATV locations compared
Drive times are approximate, in normal traffic. Afternoon traffic from the south coast can add 30 minutes.

Our ATV location: Sedang, Abiansemal
We ride at All New Bali Adventure, Jl. Raya Krasan, Sedang, Abiansemal, Badung, about 30 minutes south-west of central Ubud. This is the ATV base, not our office in Gianyar or the meeting point in Ubud town.
The track is a dedicated off-road jungle loop: a muddy track through bamboo and jungle, river crossings, a waterfall, and a lion-head tunnel with water pouring over the entrance. It stays off the public road from the briefing to the finish, which is why we rate it the best ATV track in Bali for a jungle mud ride.
A single quad is Rp 750.000 for one rider, Rp 725.000 each for two, and Rp 700.000 each for three or more; a tandem is Rp 1.100.000 per bike for two people. Lunch, boots, helmet, and insurance for ages 6–65 are included.
How to get to the ATV track
- Private shuttle: Rp 400.000 from Ubud or Rp 650.000 from the south coast, once per booking, not per person. The driver waits while you ride and takes you back after lunch.
- Your own driver or an online car: free. We send the gate pin with your confirmation.
- Scooter: possible from Ubud. From the beach towns, allow at least an hour each way, and you ride back muddy.
- Combo days: Sedang pairs with Ayung rafting or Wos River tubing the same day, with one shuttle for the whole day and 10% off both tickets.

- Riding on the sand by the sea: Tabanan on the west coast
- Lava fields under a volcano: Kintamani, or see Batur by private jeep instead
